In terms of eligibility criteria any current high school, undergraduate, graduate, or soon-to-be students who have been accepted to an accredited college, university, or graduate school may apply to the Making an Impact Scholarship. These criteria include:
- GPA of at least 3.0;
- Admitted to or enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the U.S.;
- OR Enrolled in an accredited high school in the U.S. (AND admitted to an accredited college);
- Proof of enrollment or acceptance into accredited institutions;
- An unofficial transcript showing your GPA as well as proof of your acceptance or enrollment in an accredited institution with your application;
- Agree to the terms and conditions of the Making an Impact Scholarship;
- Applying by the deadline of November 1st, 2025.
Any submissions received through means other than the form on the official scholarship page, including mail or email, will be disqualified from consideration.
Policy of Non-Discrimination
When selecting a winner, the Kaine Law scholarship selection committee will not discriminate against any entrant upon the basis of any protected category. These include, but are not limited to, race, ethnicity, country of origin, gender, sexuality, disability, enlistment in the military, and veteran status.
The winning submission will solely be based on the quality of the essay and the entrant’s adherence to the eligibility criteria listed above.
Privacy Policy
Kaine Law will collect some private information from all applicants, such as name, contact information, unofficial transcripts, and the identity of each applicant’s place of learning. Such private information will not be shared, distributed, published, sold, or otherwise given to outside organizations.
This policy excludes the identity and relevant personal information of the scholarship winner, which may be used in various media (including Kaine Law blog posts, press releases, recorded interviews, etc.). Using this information will be done in accordance with the marketing and advertising purposes.
Formation of Scholarship Committee
Kaine Law will form a scholarship selection committee for the purpose of choosing a winner for the Making an Impact Scholarship. The scholarship selection committee is solely responsible for selecting a winner, and the decision reached by the committee will be final.
Announcement of Winner
The winner of the Making an Impact Scholarship will be announced via various media outlets, including blog posts, video interviews, and press releases. This will serve as a notification both for the winner and for other applicants. Kaine Law is not required to notify each applicant of their status.
