Attorney Alice Hollaway received her undergraduate degree from Winthrop University. Following undergraduate school, she attended the University of Georgia School of Law where she earned her law degree. Alice is licensed to practice law in all Georgia State, Superior, and Federal courts.
Before joining Kaine Law, Alice began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney. She represented the State of Georgia in felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, gaining experience in both jury and bench trials. In her role as a prosecutor, Alice worked with law enforcement and victims to obtain fair results and uphold the law in Georgia.
After four years of public service, Alice chose to gain further experience in civil litigation, going to work for an insurance defense firm. During her time practicing insurance defense, Alice advised and defended corporations, small businesses, and individuals through all stages of a case. Alice was involved in matters from pre-suit preservation of evidence through litigation, settlement, and trial. Alice worked together with clients and the insurance companies to negotiate or litigate their cases to a fair conclusion.
After working in insurance defense for several years, Alice has become impassioned to work on the side of the victims of personal injury. Alice is committed to assisting those who have suffered from personal injuries caused by another’s negligence. Alice’s experience on the defense side has given her the skills and compassion to be a strong advocate for clients in their personal injury cases.
