School is in full swing and so is Professor/Attorney Evan Kaine. Mr. Kaine has been giving back to his undergraduate alma mater since 2005 as a guest lecturer and 2008 as a part-time instructor in the School of Hospitality Administration under the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
Attorney Kaine instructs roughly 50 students each semester in the areas of Hospitality Administration law helping tomorrow’s leaders develop a solid foundation and understanding of the legal nuances of our society. The topics discussed range from employment law issues involving wage and hour, discrimination and sexual harassment to insurance law including liability insurance, medical payments coverage, disability insurance and worker’s compensation.
Professor/Attorney Kaine’s approach to the class is that of prevention. Preventing legal issues from arising is the best way to avoid being sued.
